Welcome

On behalf of all the members, I am delighted to welcome you to the Inverness Culloden website.

We meet on a Tuesday evening at 6.15pm in the Lochardil House Hotel, Inverness. (Select map from HOME menu)

The club has developed steadily since it began in 1998 and as one of the 86 Clubs in Rotary District 1010 - North Scotland, we are actively involved in local, regional and international projects.

Inverness Culloden can lay claim to being at the forefront of the modern Rotary movement: it was formed from the outset as a 'dual gender' club with both male and female members, and has continued ever since to involve a wide range of men and women from business and the professions in Inverness.

The club is also one of the youngest clubs in terms of average age of members, and benefits from this in it's informal, unstuffy approach to Rotary membership. At the same time, the club is immensely proud of the history and heritage of the Rotary movement of which it is part, and works hard to maintain the values and standards handed down throughout Rotary.

Our members are committed to our local area and help and support many groups and organisations in our own community. We offer organisations physical and financial assistance - whichever is most needed and deemed appropriate. In many occasions we will offer both if we can.

As a club we hope to use our skills and expertise to make a difference in our community by being TRUE in all that we do; being FAIR to everyone we deal with; offering GOODWILL and FRIENDSHIP and making sure that our actions are BENEFICIAL for everyone involved.

We have  a very active social life and warmly welcome new members. Please take your time and discover all about the club and Rotary by clicking on the topics in the menu.
